Hiya, Stacey, and welcome to planDisney! Your Walt Disney World Resort vacation will be here in just a few short days, and you must be getting so excited! Thank you for stopping by planDisney with this great question as you start packing your suitcases.
Stacey, while it's difficult to predict whether
Magic Kingdom Park will reach capacity, you will be able to find out before park hopping there by opening up the
My Disney Experience Mobile App. Navigate to the main menu by tapping the icon in the bottom right-hand corner. Scroll down to the "Plan My Next Visit" section and tap "Park Hours & Info." Here, you'll see Park Hopper Availability. If a park is at capacity, the app should update to reflect no Park Hopper Availability. Please keep in mind that the Walt Disney World Resort website states, "
Lightning Lane passes are nonrefundable and nontransferable." It's important to know that a Lightning Lane selection does not guarantee you will be able to enter the park. If a park is at capacity and you can't make it to your selected Lightning Lane time, please stop by
Guest Services to see what they recommend - they'll be glad to help you determine the next step!
I hope you're able to see the brand-new
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away, which debuts July 20, 2025 at Magic Kingdom Park. If you're just as excited about this new parade as I am, you'll want to be sure to see it during your vacation. I just know it's going to be beautiful, and you must be thrilled to be there for the debut! Check the My Disney Experience Mobile App or the
Entertainment Schedule for performance times, and get ready to be dazzled by shimmering lights!
Stacey, I hope this is helpful to you as you count down to your arrival. Please stop by planDisney with any other questions you have!
See ya real soon!
