Hey there, hi there, ho there, Kelsey!
Welcome to planDisney! And even better, welcome to the Magic Key Program!! Those coveted keys are like a treasure chest of memories waiting to be unlocked for you and your family this year! I have loved pouncing around Fantasyland and the new Mickey's Toontown with my little prince for over a year now, all thanks to grabbing hold of an Imagine Key. 2024 is going to be filled with thrills - from Valentine's,
Lunar New Year, and the
Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival in the upcoming weeks to the
Haunted Mansion grounds expansion and the upcoming attraction,
Tiana's Bayou Adventure, arriving in the Fall. So, let's dive in to making sure you and your cast of characters have everything you need to dive in!
Kelsey, the Inspire Key is available to guests no matter where they live. The Inspire Key is an exciting level because of all the benefits it offers, like complimentary parking and access to the theme parks
on most days. And guess what? No need to prove you're a California resident like us! On your first visit, head straight to the turnstiles at the park where you've made reservations for the day, flash a smile for your picture, and there you go!
Speaking of which, have you already downloaded the Disneyland Mobile App yet, Kelsey? Trust me, it's a total game-changer! Not only is this where your Magic Key barcodes are scanned when you arrive at the parks, but it's also like having your own personal genie to help you navigate the park. You can check wait times,
mobile order food and drinks, and basically stay one jump ahead of the crowds throughout your visit!
But Kelsey, if you purchased the
Imagine Key (like me), then you needed to have a residential address that is
within zip codes 90000 to 93599 entered in your Disneyland account when you purchased it yesterday. In that case, you'll just go through the same steps that I described above (make a theme park reservation, download the app, arrive at the turnstiles to scan in, and take a picture), the cast member may ask you to show a form of government issued ID that had a Southern California residential address.
Acceptable forms of ID include a valid California Driver's License, a Valid active United States Armed Forces ID, or a valid original passport.
Kelsey, I want to thank you for bringing me this question. Helping families enjoy their time at The Happiest Place On Earth lights me up brighter than a
nighttime spectacular (if that's even possible!). Can't wait to hear more about the adventures you and your crew have planned at the resort. Remember,
you've got a friend in me—
reach out again anytime. I'd love to share more of
my favorite tips for visiting the Disneyland Resort!
See ya real soon!
