Hey howdy hey Jacqueline and welcome to planDisney!
I absolutely love the end of November and beginning of December for trips to Walt Disney World Resort. You still have some time to be in the resort with the fall decor out and around that time as well, you will be getting more of the Magical transition to the celebration of the
holiday season in the Most Magical Place on Earth. With the ever-changing landscape that Covid has brought with it, you have some great questions.
Walt Disney World Resort has some really great and comprehensive cancellation policies so let's look at tickets first. When you purchase tickets for any
Theme Park, the ticket price is relative to that day. You are able to change the date of the ticket any time prior to the date of the ticket usage date and you can do this either from your
My Disney Experience account or through the
My Disney Experience App. Simply log onto your account and select "My Tickets and Passes", on the app you will have to click on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner first. Select the tickets you want to modify and select "Change Ticket". From here you will follow the prompts and you will see eligible dates to change your ticket to. If the date is not listed, you can contact the
help center at (407) 939-1289 and a Cast Member will be able to help you through this process. Just be aware that if you select a date with a purchase price more than what your tickets were purchased for, you will be charged for the difference.
For hotel reservations, the
cancellation policy is different. For hotel reservations, you are required to put a down payment equal to one night's stay at the hotel. If you need to cancel this reservation, cancellations must be made more than five days in advance of your arrival date to get a full refund. This can easily be done as well through your My Disney Experience account by looking under "My Reservations" and you should see a link for "Modify or Cancel Reservation". Follow the prompts for cancellation and full refund. In some cases, you will have to call to cancel them which you can do at (407) 939-7429 and a Cast Member would be glad to help you through the process.
I hope this information puts your mind at ease when planning your trip to Walt Disney World Resort as there is flexibility and options when it comes to planning your trip. If you have any further questions feel free to reach out, we love talking all things Walt Disney World Resort here at planDisney.
Happy Planning,
