Hello there, Brittany! Welcome to planDisney and thank you for cruising our way with your question.
I'm a big fan of adding ground transportation with the Disney Cruise Line to my cruise reservation because I know that when I leave the driving to Disney, I am able to arrive at the port relaxed and ready for an amazing vacation to begin. I hope that you find the same to be true for you and your sailing crew as you travel.
There are a few different options available for Guests when they choose to
arrange ground transportation for their cruise vacation.
Ground transportation is available from specific hotels for select itineraries and from local airports to the nearest departure port. If you'll be staying at a
Walt Disney World Resort hotel prior to embarking on your cruise, you will receive information about your departure time upon checking into the hotel. If you have arranged for transportation from the Orlando International Airport to Port Canaveral, I recommend that you plan to get to the Disney Cruise Line transportation area of the airport (Level 1 Side B) approximately two hours prior to your scheduled Port Arrival Time. The transportation runs from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and you will find friendly agents to assist with your luggage.
If you have any further questions about your specific arrangements, I recommend that you
call Disney Cruise Line to speak with a Guest Service Agent. I hope that everything is smooth sailing ahead for you and your sailing crew! Please cruise back to us if you have any additional questions. My pals and I are always happy to lend a helping hand.
Happy Sailing,
Adrianna
