Hi Eugene!
A canceled Disney Cruise is such a bummer, but I'm glad to see you are planning a make-up trip to
Walt Disney World! Using Disney Gift Cards is a great way to pay for a vacation and they are accepted practically everywhere at Disney.
Eugene, the first thing I'll suggest for you to do is combine your gift cards. You can hold up to $1000 on any one gift card at a time, so it will be easiest to turn your six gift cards into three. To do this, head to the
Disney Gift Card website, register your cards, and then transfer them together so they hold $1000 each. It's also a good idea to register them to your account in case they are lost or stolen during your trip.
Now, to answer your question. Purchasing
Walt Disney World tickets only allows for one gift card plus a credit card for the remaining balance at a time. You might have to do a little math and get creative with your ticket purchase and purchase them separately to make the most of your gift cards. When I was purchasing my
annual passes with gift cards, I had to do them individually. I purchased one with one gift card, then another with another gift card, another with a third gift card and then I combined the remaining balances of those three gift cards onto one and then used that to purchase my fourth and final annual pass. Is it convenient? Nope, but it can be done! If you have any remaining gift card balance after your ticket purchase, save it for your trip to pay for
dining and souvenirs.
Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions.
Have a magical day!
Leslie
