Hi there, Karina!
Thanks for bringing another great question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I can't wait for you to make magical memories with your family at the Happiest Place on Earth.
It's great that you already have your park tickets ready to go for your trip, but it sounds like you have a question regarding your tickets purchased from a third-party retailer. These gift card tickets typically can be activated right at the park gates without having to go to the Main Entrance ticket booths. Once you show the Cast Member at the entrance your ticket, you will be given an official paper ticket that you can link right to the Disneyland app. You can also use your ticket or ticket to make FASTPASS selections and even utilize the brand new
Disney MaxPass feature for digital Disney FASTPASS selections.
Whether you purchase tickets online, use a gift card to purchase tickets, have an Annual Passport, or purchase tickets directly from the Disneyland Resort, no ticket guarantees admission if the park has reached capacity. While it is very rare for this to happen, it's still always good to have a plan to ensure you will get to enjoy your days in the parks. If the parks do reach capacity, it most likely will happen later in the day. Your best chance of getting into the parks is always to arrive bright and early in the morning. I like to arrive at least 30 minutes before park opening to line up at the park entrance. This is when the parks are always the least crowded on any given day. We love experiencing our favorite attractions during the first couple of hours when lines are the shortest. It's also wonderful to experience the ambiance of both parks with fewer Guests during these times.
I hope this helps, and have a Fantasmic day!
