I purchased Genie+ for our two day Disneyland trip not knowing we can use the disability pass for my son's disability. Is it too late to get a refund?

Hey there, hi there, Maria. Welcome to planDisney! We are so glad you are here with your question.

You are just days away from experiencing all the magic at Disneyland Resort. I love to hear that you were planning ahead and purchased Disney Genie+, although it sounds like you think you may not need it now that you also have Disability Access Services for your son. Unfortunately, the Disney Genie+ Service is nonrefundable. I know that's a bummer, but I think you may have just unlocked a wonderful way to really maximize your time at Disneyland. DAS and Disney Genie+ are two independent services that you can use together. This week is a busy week in the parks with so many visiting The Happiest Place on Earth for spring break and that could mean longer wait times for rides. The thing is Disney Genie+ is not available for every ride, so I would use Disney Genie+ for participating attractions and use DAS for those attractions that do not offer Disney Genie+. This can really maximize your time for attractions, which is always my family's main priority.

With Disney Genie+, you will also get unlimited digital PhotoPass downloads so that you have a headstart on your memory books from your visit. If you have any questions or concerns about using these two services simultaneously there are lovely Guest Relations Cast Members all throughout the parks under blue umbrellas that will be able to take care of you.

Maria, I hope your family has the best time in the parks. See you real soon!
