    I purchased Genie+ when I purchased tickets and made a reservations for park dates online….. how do I see this in the app as it is shows to purchase Genie+?

    Hello there, Amanda! We are so happy you found your way to planDisney! You are going to love using Genie+ on your park days. Your magic carpet will be sailing through those Lightning Lanes faster than you can say "You've Got A Friend in Me"!

    There are a few ways for us to confirm that your tickets include Genie+. First, you can always reference the original ticket confirmation email you received at the time of purchase. It should include a notation that says something along the lines of "...with Disney Genie + Service". Second, we can take a look at your tickets within the Disneyland Mobile App. If you open the app and log in with the same account information used to purchase the tickets, we can take a look by navigating to the menu in the bottom right-hand corner and selecting "Tickets & Passes". Here, you can scroll through any active tickets included in your account. In the color block at the top, it should say something along the lines of "Ticket with Disney Genie+ Service". If you see that here ... Poof! Your Genie sidekick is ready to hit the ground running with you as soon as you scan into the parks!

    If for some reason it is not showing up, it's worth giving the Guest Services team a call, or, since you're so close to your trip, you could speak to Guest Relations when you arrive. In the event that it was not initially added to your tickets, don't worry. You can always purchase it through your app once you scan into the parks. The only difference is that you would just need to purchase it daily instead of once for your length of stay, but it is the same cost either way. 

    With Genie+, you can make your first Lightning Lane selection as soon as you walk through those Main Entrance Gates! You'll be able to make your second selection either once you use your first or two-hours after you've made the first selection if it's not until later in the day. The app will help guide you, but I like to set an alarm on my phone if I will need the two-hour reminder! You'd be surprised how distracting magic can be and it's always nice to get a little pixie-dusted nudge! Don't forget that as part of your Genie+ service, you will have access to all of the Disney PhotoPass photos you capture that day. This is by far my favorite perk as it adds another layer of memory-making to your park day! Don't be shy, hop in front of all those cameras, and strike a pose! Ask for a Magic Shot, especially in Avengers Campus ... just trust me on this one!
