If I purchased the genie + pass for two people but those individuals aren’t able to use it due to pregnancy and medical conditions. Could I transfer the unused genie + pass to two other individuals that will be visiting the park with us?

    Hi there, Ignacio,

Thanks for visiting us at planDisney. I appreciate that you are looking out for the health and wellbeing of others in your party.

According to the Disneyland Resort ticket terms and conditions, entitlements such as Park Hopper and the Disney Genie+ service that may be added to base tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once a Guest begins using a ticket, any of those entitlements included with their ticket may not be shared with other Guests. If you have standard theme park tickets that are wholly unused, you may choose to swap who uses the tickets before they are used for the first time. If you would like the names linked to the tickets to be updated, you may reach out to a Cast Member with the Tickets phone line.

It’s good to keep in mind that there are several attractions (about 15 out of the many dozens of rides and experiences at the Disneyland Resort) that have advisories or warnings that recommend that Guests with certain health concerns or who may be pregnant should not ride. While most of those attractions with advisories also happen to feature Lightning Lane return queues, there are still many other attractions that may be experienced with a Genie+ Lightning Lane return time. In fact, nearly half of the attractions with Genie+ Lightning Lanes do not have such health advisories. That includes many of my favorites, such as Soarin' Around the World, Monsters, Inc. Mike & Sulley to the Rescue!, Haunted Mansion, and “it’s a small world.” Genie+ may help with accessing these and other attractions with a shorter wait time.

I hope everything goes very well during your visit to the Disneyland Resort, Ignacio. If there is anything else we can help with as you prepare to enter a “world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy,” we’d love to hear from you again here at planDisney.
