    Hi! We purchased Florida Resident Weekday annual passes online. Will we receive magic bands in the mail? We are going to Disney in 26 days and staying offsite (we live over 2 hours away from Orlando). I have read that you get a magic band with annual pass.

    Hi Mary!! I'm so excited for you!! While we aren't Florida residents, we are Annual Passholders and I absolutely love the benefits associated with our Annual Pass!

    During your first visit to Walt Disney World Resort as an Annual Passholder, you will receive an Annual Passholder Card. Upon arrival at one of the theme parks or Disney Springs, you will check-in at Guest Relations and they will give you your Annual Passholder Card along with information regarding the benefits of being a Passholder (be sure you have your valid Florida resident photo ID with you). At this time, your Annual Pass will be activated.

    After you have visited one of those locations and activated your Annual Pass, you can go to the 'MagicBands and Cards' section of your My Disney Experience account to customize your new MagicBands for the Annual Passholder Affiliation. Then, it will take 7-10 business days for you to receive your MagicBands. They will be shipped to your home and you will be able to use them when you return throughout the year.
