Hi Jaclyn,
Welcome back to planDisney! It's always a pleasure to help a fellow Floridian get set up with special Walt Disney World tickets and passes for Florida residents.
To activate your Florida resident tickets, you need to present a Florida drivers license, state issued ID or Florida-based military ID. If you don't have those, there are some
alternate methods of verification that will work, including vehicle registration and utility bills.
A license or state ID normally can be used online, but since yours didn't work, you can present those (or your alternate verification documents) at a ticket window or Guest Relations location. You can find those at the entrance of each theme park and at the Welcome Center at Disney Springs.
When I've done the in-person verification, it has taken just a few minutes. But if you don't want even a short delay before you start your first day of use, I'd recommend stopping by a Guest Relations desk in advance.
Did you know, Jaclyn, that there are also
special discounts for Florida residents on Walt Disney World resort stays and other experiences? Even if you live nearby, as I do, a stay at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel makes a visit into a true vacation.
Have fun, Jaclyn, and please check back any time if you have questions about planning your next Walt Disney World visit.
Wilma
