While there is no publicly published (hard and fast) refund policy for Magic Your Way tickets - Florida Resident or otherwise - the response I got when I called The Walt Disney Travel Company was reasonably positive.
Disney does not typically allow for refunds since the use policy is so liberal. However, in some cases, the Cast Member you're working with can use his/her discretion to issue a refund.
Please bear in mind that until you activate the ticket, it does not have an expiration date (the exception to this is a special ticket offer, such as the present
Wild for 3 promotion Disney is running for its Florida residents).
If there is a documentable reason for the decreased ticket need, please bring with you any paperwork you might have to demonstrate your need. This can help make the decision easier for the Cast Member.
