Hi, Karen! Welcome back to planDisney! It's a pleasure to chat with you again. Let's get you ready for some truly
Incredible adventures at the Walt Disney World Resort!
Okay, it sounds like you have the Florida Resident Discover Disney tickets, which were originally planned to expire on June 18. Before we dive into the options you may have, let's double-check that expiration date, because it might have changed. It's quick and easy to check on the
My Disney Experience app on your phone. Just look for the menu icon (three horizontal lines) in the bottom right of your screen, then select the "Tickets and Passes" tile. You'll see your tickets there, along with the expiration date. That way, you'll know exactly what you're working with.
Now that we have the most up-to-date info, let's talk about using your tickets. The Florida Resident Discover Disney Ticket Offer was a special deal just for us Floridians, so unless Disney extends the dates of the tickets, they can't be used after they expire. However, you may have the option to
apply the cost of your tickets toward the purchase of new tickets if you haven't used them yet. Your best bet is to
call Guest Relations at the number listed for "Existing Tickets" and talk through your options with a Cast Member. And here's a planDisney tip that I've used recently: if you tap the "Chat With Us" tile near the bottom of the menu screen on the My Disney Experience app, you can get personalized help from a Cast Member without having to wait on hold on the phone!
Karen, I hope this helps you plan your Disney days. Thanks again for stopping by, and do come back and see us if you have any more questions. We're always here to help!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
