Matthew from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I purchased Florida resident tickets and already verified my residency online. Do I need to show ID/proof of residency when I enter the Park? I lost my ID and I'm unsure it will be replaced in time. I have an old ID as well as other verification.

    Hi Matthew!

What a joy it must be to live close to the magic of Walt Disney World Resort and enjoy all the unique perks that come with being a Florida Resident! With year-round access to the parks, Florida residents can enjoy spontaneous day trips, special seasonal events, and exclusive deals that allow you to experience the magic more often. There are also wonderful Special Offers on Disney Resorts Collection hotels and Florida Resident Annual Passes, making it even easier to immerse yourself in the adventure that Disney has to offer.

Now let’s talk about those Florida resident tickets. It’s fantastic to hear that you’ve already verified your residency online when purchasing your theme park ticket. This online verification typically means that you'll be able to bypass Guest Relations and go straight to the parks. However, occasionally there can be a glitch or discrepancy, and the Cast Members may ask for additional proof of residency.

Since you mentioned that you have an old ID and other forms of verification, I recommend bringing those with you just in case. It’s always good to have a backup plan to ensure your entry into the park goes as smoothly as possible.

I hope you have a magical time enjoying the parks and all the wonderful benefits that come with being a Florida resident!
