Danielle from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I purchased florida resident pass tickets, we moved from Kansas a month ago. We have bills and documents to establish proof of residency, but I was wondering if there was a place I can upload these in my account, instead of having to go to will call?

    Hiya Danielle,

Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your Florida Resident question—and welcome to the Sunshine State! Congratulations on your move! I’ve called Florida home for over two decades, and one of my absolute favorite perks is knowing that the magic of Disney World is never far away. Whether it’s a spontaneous day trip down I-4 or a longer stay sprinkled with pixie dust, living so close to the magic is truly something special.

Now, let’s zip-a-dee-doo-dah right into your question about residency verification. If you have one of the following forms of ID with a Florida address, you can verify your residency online through the My Disney Experience app or website:

    • Valid Florida Driver’s License
    • Valid Florida State-Issued ID
    • Valid Florida-Based Military ID
For all other forms of approved residency documents—dated within the last 2 months—you’ll just need to stop by a Ticket Center or Guest Relations, including the convenient locations at Disney Springs. The good news? Electronic versions are accepted, so you can show your documents right from your phone or tablet—no need to bring a physical copy unless you prefer it.

While you’re planning, be sure to explore the Special Offers page. Florida Residents often receive some truly enchanting deals, and they do change frequently—sometimes faster than you can say Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious!  If you spot a deal that fits your plans, I highly recommend grabbing it.

Danielle, I know residency steps can feel a bit like following breadcrumbs through the Hundred Acre Wood, but I hope this helps guide you through the process. If you have any more questions, big or small, please do not hesitate to visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
    Christina
