i purchased florida resident disney tickets for minor family members how can i verify residency online?

    Hiya Chris,

Welcome to planDisney! How exciting that you will be bringing little Mousketeers to Walt Disney World Resort. I’m looking forward to taking my little one on her first visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth. While I no longer live in Florida, I loved my time as a Florida resident. Being able to visit the Theme Parks more frequently is incredible, and the savings that come with your residency are amazing.

As long as your minor Guests are under the age of 17, they are not required to show proof of residency to activate Walt Disney World Resort tickets and passes. Suppose your Guests are over 17, and you need to verify their Florida residency. In that case, digital residency verification occurs during the checkout process on the Walt Disney World Resort website or through the My Disney Experience mobile app. If your tickets have already been purchased, then you can verify Florida residency in person at Guest Relations at any of the four Theme Parks or Disney Springs. It is super quick to do, so just make sure you have proper identification handy.

If you have any other questions about your upcoming trip, please come back and see us!

    Happy Planning,
