Hello! I purchased a florida resident 4 day hopper ticket. Can I change it to an annual pass? How do I do that? I am going in august but may possibly go before that as well. Thank you!

Hi Sally and welcome back to planDisney!

Being a Florida resident AND a Walt Disney World Passholder is awesome!  We love having the freedom to visit the parks as often as possible since we live so close to the magic. The discounts on park tickets and Disney Resort hotel stays offered to Florida residents are a great perk!

You can certainly upgrade your Florida resident 4-day park hopper ticket to an annual pass as long as you do it before the last day of your ticket is used.  Passholders receive complimentary parking as well as discounts on select merchandise and dining, so that is also something to consider when thinking about purchasing an annual pass.

Currently, the Disney Pixie Dust Pass is the only available annual pass to purchase and is only to Florida residents.  This pass is valid on weekdays, Monday through Friday, with blockout dates.  If you plan on visiting the parks during the week, this is the perfect pass for you!  If you would like to upgrade your pass to include weekends, you can do so when you are eligible to renew your pass after the first year.

To upgrade your pass, you can visit any ticket window at any of the Walt Disney World theme parks or you can call the existing tickets or annual passholder phone number and a friendly Cast Member can assist you with upgrading.

Please stop back by if you have any additional vacation planning questions.

    Have a magical day!
