Amado from FL Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

We purchased Fla Disney tickets and res for August 6 to 8. We presently have the COVID me and my wife are presently in the hospital in Tampa. The tickets expire mid Sep. Is there any way we can get a credit on the tickets purchased.

Hello, Amado! Thank you so much for stopping by planDisney with your question.

I'm so, so sorry you and your wife have fallen ill! I live in the Tampa Bay area as well, and I know you're getting the best of care from our hometown healthcare heroes. I'm sure they'll have you feeling better very soon!

You must also be so disappointed that you missed your trip to Walt Disney World. But that doesn't mean you have to completely miss out on the magic! It sounds like you purchased Florida Resident Summer Fun Tickets, so there's still plenty of time to reschedule your visit before they expire on September 17. If you think you just won't be up for it by then, you can reach out to Guest Relations and ask a Cast Member to help you explore your options. I'm sure they'll be able to set your mind at ease so you can just concentrate on getting better.

Amado, I truly hope you and your wife are right as rain again before you know it. And no matter when you're ready to return to Walt Disney World, the magic will be waiting for you.

Keep Disney dreaming and get well soon!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
