Now let’s get talking about MagicBands. Typically, once a
MagicBand+ is linked to an account, it
cannot be transferred to someone else. There is something you could try in hopes of restoring the MagicBand+ to the rightful owner so let’s try!
What you will want to do is try the Help Center Chat function on the bottom right-hand corner of the
Walt Disney World website. After explaining your situation there, a Cast Member may be able to help assign the MagicBand+ to someone already in your Family & Friends List since the MagicBand+ has not yet been used. I’m hoping with the right amount of
Pixie Dust, this option will work!
If not, something else to consider would be using,
Disney MagicMobile for the person who doesn’t have a MagicBand. This will allow them to scan into the theme parks and access Lightning Lane entries similar to the MagicBand, just by using your mobile device.
