I purchased five 3-day single-park tickets from Target. While trying to figure out how to make a reservation I saw that you sell 4-day tickets for only $40 more than 3-day tickets. Is it possible to pay the difference and get an extra day in the park?

Hey there, hi there, Travis! Welcome to planDisney. You've brought us a great question about ticket upgrades!

I hope you are getting excited for your visit as the days get closer to your arrival at Disneyland. I'm so glad you got a chance to check out the special offers and discounts that are currently available at Disneyland Resort. That is a page that I definitely encourage everyone to check out before purchasing tickets. However, if you have already purchased tickets and you have found a deal or are looking to upgrade tickets, you usually can as long as the new ticket option is of greater value than your current tickets. The easiest way to see if you can upgrade would be to make sure your current tickets are linked to your Disney account and head to the "My Disneyland" tab on the Disneyland website. There, you will see a "Change Your Theme Park Tickets" option. It will give you an option to upgrade tickets linked to your account if they are eligible. If you run into any issues, I recommend calling Ticket Services and speaking with a Cast Member to see if they can further assist you.

Be sure to take a peek at the 70th Celebration festivities so you can plan out everything you don't want to miss during your visit. I just got back from a week in the parks, and it was so fun to see all the new and returning nighttime spectaculars. I think my favorite of them all was the new Tapestry of Happiness that can be seen multiple times throughout the night on the facade of "it's a small world".

Travis, thanks so much for stopping by! I hope your visit is full of magic!

Meet the Panelist: Carrie, California

Well hello there, friend! I'm Carrie, a work-from-home mom and military wife who currently calls sunny San Diego home. You'll find my family in the parks braving drops and coasters to work up our appetite to take as many snack breaks as we can. While Disneyland is our home away from home, we love trying to make a Walt Disney World Resort vacation happen at least once a year now too. All my friends know I'm the go-to for Disney advice, so I'm here to help you plan and experience the magic on your visit! Learn More About Carrie
