Hi there, Timothy, and welcome to planDisney!
As an Annual Passholder myself, I know just how exciting it is to have the freedom to visit
Walt Disney World Resort as often as you'd like! This, combined with the additional
Passholder perks such as discounts on select dining, merchandise, and experiences, makes the purchase of
Annual Passes such a fun investment for families like yours hoping to
make magical memories together.
Because Walt Disney World Resort Annual Passes are not active until they are manually used to gain entrance to a theme park, the five passes you purchased do not necessarily need to be activated at one time. Keep in mind that Annual Passes cannot be reassigned once they are used for theme park entry, so the person assigned to the Pass will need to be the person who activates it regardless of who made the purchase, and since passes are valid 365 days from activation, if your family members activate the Passes on different dates, they will expire on different dates as well. Furthermore, Passes that are not activated within a year of purchase will disappear from your
My Disney Experience account, so you will need to have the value of the Pass applied toward the purchase of a new one.
I hope this was helpful, Timothy, and that your family has a wonderful year filled with magical moments that become lifelong memories. If any additional questions arise in the upcoming year, feel free to
stop back by. Hakuna Matata. I'm always happy to help!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
