Hey Caitlin and welcome back to planDisney. December is a magical time of year to visit Walt Disney World Resort, especially at Magic Kingdom Park where
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party lights up Main Street, U.S.A. Actually, this is a wonderful time of year to visit all the theme parks because the 60-ft. holiday trees that welcome you into each theme park are breathtaking.
Guests under 3 years old do not need a
Theme Park Ticket or a
Special Event Ticket for experiences like Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Awesome, right! It is never too early to start making those Disney memories especially when the Disney Characters are in their yuletide outfits. Be sure to get lots of pictures and consider a
Memory Maker to capture those magic moments. One tip if you plan to visit Walt Disney World Resort more than once: One of the must-dos for my family while my kids were little was to find a spot and take a picture then every year/trip take the same picture in the same place. You can really see them grow.
planDisney Pro Tip: Since it is the holiday season do not miss out on the
giant gingerbread houses at some of the
Disney Resorts Collection Hotels. The biggest and always most impressive is the one at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Wow!
Caitlin, I am excited about your enchanted Disney trip in less than two months. Please stop by planDisney for more tips or feel free to
write me directly with any follow-up questions.
Enjoy making many Magical Memories.
