Welcome to planDisney, Tara!
Good news travels fast, especially when it involves a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. My definition of family and togetherness was defined on Main Street, U.S.A., and I love that the headcount for your holiday family reunion continues to grow. The
newest episode of the planDisney podcast highlights some holly, jolly ways to celebrate the holidays at The Most Magical Place on Earth. My personal favorite is experiencing the
Candlelight Processional at the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, which is truly the soundtrack of the season.
Valid admission, a theme park reservation for each park day, and a method of entry (MagicBand, MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile pass, or admission card) are currently required for theme park entry. You are welcome to purchase tickets for your additional family members
online or in the
My Disney Experience mobile app (plus sign at the bottom of the app's homepage --> Buy Tickets and Passes). Part of the purchase process requires you to link each ticket to an individual on your
Family and Friends list. If you want to manage all plans for these family members, click "Add a New Guest" from the Guest dropdown menu and enter their name and age. This creates a My Disney Experience account profile for each family member that is managed under your account.
I currently manage My Disney Experience account profiles for my children as well as my parents.
MagicBands are everyone's preferred method of entry because they are convenient and allow everyone to function independently at park entry and Lightning Lane entrances. Something to keep in mind is that new
MagicBand+ designs should be charged before use, which means you should ideally purchase them before arrival so they're fully charged for your first park day.
As your holiday celebration continues to grow, Tara, please continue to visit planDisney with any trip-planning questions.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
