Howdy Erin! Welcome to planDisney. We’re so glad you stopped by today with your question!
Ugh, what a bummer that Covid got in the way of your
Walt Disney World Vacation. That must have been such a disappointment. But, it looks like you’re looking to visit again soon, which is super exciting! Though I’m sure you were sad to have to reschedule at all, the silver lining is you’ll be visiting during a SUPER special and historic time with
Walt Disney World’s 50th Anniversary in full swing! The EARidescent magical touches sprinkled all around Walt Disney World are sure to make your vacation even more fabulous than you can imagine!
Let’s get to your question, shall we, Erin? Entirely unused tickets do expire, but the value of those tickets will remain in your account. Meaning that as long as the ticket holder did not scan into the parks at any point, the value of that wholly unused ticket can be used toward a future ticket purchase.
Now, at this time, you cannot access the expired, unused ticket online, which is why you’re not seeing it in your My Disney Experience account. So, to use the ticket value, you would need to call the Existing Tickets team at (407) 934-7639, where a fabulous Cast Member will be happy to get this taken care of for you.
As I mentioned, Walt Disney World's 50th Anniversary Celebration will still be in full swing through March 31st, 2023, making it the perfect time to revel in all that is new and exciting at Walt Disney World. In my opinion, you cannot miss the fabulous nighttime spectacular
Disney Enchantment at
Magic Kingdom Park. You'll see Main Street, U.S.A. like never before as it transforms with EARidescent light and color together with the incredible fireworks over Cinderella Castle. It's an absolute must-do! Of course, you also won't want to miss the
celebratory sips and bites available throughout Walt Disney World in honor of The World's Most Magical Celebration. From savory to sweet, there is something for everyone to enjoy!
Thanks again for your excellent question, Erin. Please stop by planDisney again soon with any other questions we can help you with!
Bye for now!
