I purchased my family tickets in December but haven't received anything in the mail. Should I have tickets before we go?

    Hi Sheena,

Welcome to planDisney! Your vacation is in just a few days, how exciting!

Typically, Theme Park tickets are added to your My Disney Experience account virtually. If they aren’t in your account (or you don’t have an account), Hakuna Matata, you’ll just need to link them using your confirmation number you received when you purchased your tickets. Once you find that email with the confirmation number, please make an account or sign into the My Disney Experience mobile app. From the home screen of the app, press the three horizontal lines in the lower right-hand corner. Next, select “Tickets and Passes” then “Link Tickets & Passes”. Under the “Ticket or Pass” banner, you will be able to add that confirmation number. Then, you should see your tickets under “Tickets and Passes”.

Now that your tickets are linked (or if they already were), you’ll want to create your Disney Park Pass reservations. This is the next necessary step for Theme Park entry; at this time, you need a Disney Park Pass in addition to your ticket.

To book the passes, select the “+” symbol in the bar at the bottom of the My Disney Experience mobile app (two buttons to the right of the “home” button). Next, select “Make a Park Reservation” then select “Theme Park Tickets”. This will take you to the Theme Park Reservation page where you will view a calendar and select your Disney Park Pass reservations. Again, I suggest doing this as soon as you see your tickets in your My Disney Experience account if you haven’t done so already.

Since your tickets are digital, you can always head over to Guest Services to get physical tickets! They’ll just need a bit of information to find your reservation, then they can give you physical cards for your tickets. If you prefer, you can also use Disney MagicMobile Service to add the tickets to your Apple Wallet or Google Pay, which allows you to just tap your phone for entry rather than a physical ticket, magical right!

I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is helpful as you prepare for your vacation in just a few days. If you have any other last minute questions, please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
