Hey there, Eugene, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the planDisney panel with your question! You’ve already gotten the hardest step out of the way — you’ve decided to embark on a Walt Disney World vacation! It also sounds like you have already secured your Theme Park Tickets, which means you’re batting 2 for 2. Hopefully, I can help you complete the next few steps and get you inside that Walt Disney World Resort ‘bubble’ soon.
Eugene, now that your Theme Park Tickets are purchased you will want to ensure that they are properly linked to your
My Disney Experience Account. You can link your Disney Vacation Package in your
My Disney Experience mobile app or the My Disney Experience online account. As a single-digit iPhone user, the online account is the easiest for me to use when linking my reservations, but feel free to use whatever is the most convenient for you. The
Walt Disney World Linking Tool makes it really easy to link many reservations and purchases to your account. Click the “Select” option under Resort Reservation or Vacation package and log in to your My Disney Experience Account (or create one). When you completed your purchase through Costco Travel you should’ve received a confirmation number. Enter that confirmation number along with the last name on the reservation when prompted and complete the remaining prompts. That's it, you've linked your reservation to your account! If you run into any issues, the linking page should display a number for you to call to receive further assistance.
Once your vacation package is properly linked to your My Disney Experience Account, you will want to book your
Theme Park Reservations as soon as possible. I quickly reviewed the
Theme Park Availability Calendar, and it looks like all of the Theme Parks currently have availability for the days surrounding your arrival date. Keep in mind that Theme Park availability is always changing so it’s best to secure these reservations as soon as possible. If your tickets grant you park hopping privileges, you only need a park reservation for the first Theme Park you plan to visit that day.
I hope this helps, Eugene! If you have more questions while planning your vacation,
stop back by and let me know!
You’ve got a friend in me,
PG
