We purchased etickets (email with a single bar code) and made fastpass reservations all online, linked to our account, but I am confused about how to redeem them. We are not purchasing magic bands. Do we need the plastic cards to redeem our fastpass?

    Hi Joe!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It sounds like you are planning an incredible vacation to Walt Disney World Resort! With your theme park tickets linked to your My Disney Experience account and FastPass+ reservations made for your group, you are definitely doing a great job of getting your trip plans together. If you will not be using MagicBands during your vacation, then you will use admission cards to access your theme park tickets and FastPass+ reservations. These are plastic cards that are the same size and shape as a standard credit card or identification card.

Simply stop at any theme park ticket window with your identification to pick up your admission cards for your vacation. They will be loaded so they can access all of your theme park tickets and FastPass+ reservations in your My Disney Experience account. You will use your card just like you would use a MagicBand by touching your card on the Mickey touch points located at theme park entrances to enter a theme park or at FastPass+ queue entrances to redeem your FastPass+ reservations.

Be sure to download the My Disney Experience mobile app to your smart phone before your trip. It's a great tool to manage and update your dining plans and FastPass+ reservations while you are on vacation! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
