Hi Stacie,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for sending us your question. You have made a fantastic choice with the Deluxe Dining Plan, it is a great way to experience some of Walt Disney World Resort’s incredible dining options.
With the
Deluxe Dining Plan you will receive 3 credits per night of your stay. The credits are activated at the time of check-in and are valid until midnight of the day you checkout. Since you are staying from Sunday until Tuesday, each person in your party will have 6 credits to use whenever you would like, including Sunday and Tuesday.
Travel between Walt Disney World Resort Hotels can be tricky, I would suggest having a game plan prior to leaving. What I usually do is choose Dining Locations that are close to where I am staying, or that will need minimal transportation changes. Since you are staying at Disney’s All Star Resort I would suggest dining at Disney Springs. You will only need to take one bus in order to arrive at Disney Springs, and travel time is relatively short. Dining at Resort Hotels around Magic Kingdom Park are also easy to reach since once you take the bus to Magic Kingdom Park, and then a quick Monorail Ride will take you to the Resort Hotels on the Monorail Loop. If you would like to dine at a Resort Hotel close to Epcot, Disney’s Animal Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, it may be easiest to take a bus to the closest Theme Park and transfer to the bus for that particular Resort Hotel. That will be time consuming, so be sure to leave enough travel time in order to arrive at your destination.
I hope you have a magical time at Walt Disney World Resort, Stacie. Please let us know if you have any other questions, we are always happy to help.
Stephanie
