Hey Howdy Hey Claire and welcome to planDisney!
Thank you for reaching out with your question about changing the date of your ticket usage. This should be a relatively easy process you can take care of from your
My Disney Experience account, so let's go through these steps.
The first thing you are going to want to do is to make sure your tickets are linked to your account. Log into your My Disney Experience account and scroll to the "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" section. Look for the heading "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker". Once there, you should see your tickets linked and the members of your party they are assigned to. You should also see a blue link under each ticket "Change Ticket". If you click on this link, you should be given the option to change the date of your ticket's first usage date and the corresponding days you have to use your tickets will reflect your length of stay. Just note that tickets are priced specifically for days of the week and seasons, so if you change the date of your ticket, you may have to cover the difference between what you originally paid for your tickets for the new price. You will be prompted for these steps as you go through the process.
If you are going through the steps above and you do not see your tickets yet linked to your account, Hakuna Matata Claire, this is an easy fix. Back to the home screen of your My Disney Experience account, look for the ticket icon and hover your cursor over it until a button appears to "Link Tickets". Click on that button and plug in the Walt Disney World Resort Confirmation number you should have been given via email either from Walt Disney World or the third-party site.
Best of luck as you continue planning for your big trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth next year! If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out and let us know, we are always happy to help.
Happy Planning,
Nick
