I purchased a Disneyworld package. I bought 4 tickets My extended family is also coming with us, and they purchased their own package. I would like to link *one* and only one of their tickets to my account to manage it. The one I want to add is a child

Welcome Val, thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question about linking your extended family members.

This trip sounds like it is going to be a lot of fun. Extended family vacations are usually amazing magical memories waiting to be made. Big groups are always fun intertwining some group members going one way, some going the other. No one is ever left alone, and someone will always have a ride partner.

The My Disney Experience App in my opinion is the most useful tool for your trip. Linking your families accounts is importnant. While you won’t be able to put one of the tickets from the other families ticket on your package. You can however manage each others plans. This is the key You will be able to do all the other things. Add them to dining plans, use the Virtual Queues and Lightning Lanes with specific people from each party. Whoever has the child on thier account should visit the Family & Friends List on thier app and click on the toggle where it says “Want to Share Your List?” And you will then be able to connect your accounts. From there the world is open and ready to share while on vacation together.

Magic Kingdom Park is quintessential Disney and when you head down Main Street U.S.A. staring at Cinderella Castle you will have to resist running and leaving your family behind. It will be hard, trust me I go through it everytime I enter those gates. Seriously though, you have to promise to show the kids in your group your 6 year old side at least once a day. It is great for making those connections with younger family members that will not only last your lifetime seeing thier reactions as children in your mind. But those children will remember you acting silly for decades to come.

Hopefully, this information will help you plan your trip for these two families. If you have any other questions or need any tips for planning revisit us at planDisney.com anytime.

    Have a magical day,
