Hi Robert, welcome to planDisney!
You're planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort during my absolute favorite time of year. The transition from Halloween to holidays happens literally overnight in Magic Kingdom Park. The last
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party of 2023 takes place on November 1, which means you'll find pumpkins and scarecrows on Main Street, U.S.A., that Wednesday and evergreen garlands and Christmas trees on Thursday. Can you imagine that?!
It sounds like you purchased your Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets online and wish to enter the park with an admission card. Admission cards can be obtained at any theme park ticket window. Be prepared to show email confirmation of the ticket purchase, the method of payment used to make the purchase, and a photo ID. Even without your physical tickets in hand, you must make a
theme park reservation for everyone in your party for each park day as soon as possible. Each Guest requires valid admission, a theme park reservation for each park day (through January 8, 2024), and a
method of entry (MagicBand, MagicBand+, Disney MagicMobile pass, or admission card) to enter a theme park each day.
I bought theme park tickets for my "old-fashioned" parents last week and they declared their desire for physical tickets, as well. For future reference, you can click "See more delivery options" during the ticket checkout process, which gives you shipping options for having admission cards sent to your home before your vacation, as transit time allows. I selected U.S. Domestic Standard Shipping, which was free of charge, and my admission cards arrived in 7 business days. At the time of purchase, the tickets were automagically linked to my
My Disney Experience account, as well.
My last tip for using admission cards on your park days is to consider packing retractable badge holders so you don't have to dig into your wallet every time you want to enter a theme park or tap in at a Lightning Lane entrance.
I hope this information helps you access the magic on your upcoming vacation, Robert. Please return to planDisney with any other trip-planning questions.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
