Hello! I just purchased my Disneyland tickets yesterday and accidentally did not add Genie+. I would love to be able to add Genie+ to my tickets in advance. Is there anyway to possibly do this?

Hi Randi! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

The good news is that you can easily add Disney Genie+ once you enter the parks. I recently did this for myself and can walk you through how to add the service using your Disneyland mobile app.

Once your admission ticket has been scanned, pull up the app on your mobile device. On the home screen, you should see "Disney Genie+ Service" towards the top and a "Purchase" button. Click on that button to begin the transaction. You'll be able to select which tickets you'd like to add the Genie+ service to and begin booking Lightning Lane Entrances as soon as the transaction is complete. The whole thing takes less than a minute. No one can book Lightning Lane Entrances until they enter the parks, so you'll be on the same footing as everyone else buying the service once you arrive.

With Genie+, my family of four was able to ride all the attractions we wanted over the course of our two-day trip. It reduced the time we spent in queue and gave us the flexibility to enjoy Table Service meals and downtime in the afternoon while still hitting all our must-do activities. I highly recommend it.

    Have a magical day!
