Hi, I purchased 3 Disneyland tickets for our trip in March 2020. Since the park was closed due to covid, we did not get a chance to visit. We are planning a trip for later this year but I no longer see our tickets.

Hi there, Eunice! Welcome to planDisney! I'm so sorry to hear your original plans were impacted by the closure, but rest assured the magic is back in full swing and waiting for you at the Disneyland Resort!

While initially expiration dates for tickets purchased in 2020 were extended, those extensions have now passed. This is likely the reason that you have seen the tickets drop out of your account. But did you know that each and every ticket is built with a little bit of pixie dust that never fully runs out? You can always apply the value of an expired ticket towards the purchase of a new ticket! Give our Guest Services team a call and the wonderful Cast Members there will be happy to help you!

As part of the return to the magic, all Guests are required to have both a theme park ticket as well as a theme park reservation to enter the parks. The reservation system is in place to help Mickey and Minnie know how many Guests to expect each day to maintain the health and safety of all visitors and Cast Members. Think of the reservation as holding your spot in a particular park on a particular day - while it is attached to your ticket, it can be canceled and rescheduled as needed. Before booking your trip, you can give the theme park reservation calendar a quick glance to see what is currently available for your dates. Reservations can be made up to 120 days in advance. Once you have linked your new tickets to your account, open up the Disneyland Mobile App and click the "+" in the center of the bottom navigation bar. You will see the option to "Make a Park Reservation". From here, since you have already purchased your new tickets, tap into "Make Park Reservation" and then "Book Park Reservation". It will ask you to select your party and then it will bring you to the calendar where you can select your dates and if you will be going to Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park. If you have Park Hopper tickets, you will select the park where you will spend your morning with hopping available between the two after 1 p.m. each day.

Oh boy, Eunice, you are in for such a treat! Not only are fan-favorite nighttime spectaculars returning on April 22nd, but HUGS ARE BACK! As of April 18th, you and your little ones can hug their favorite characters, ask for an autograph, or just simply chat and snap a photo. I know that we have all missed this experience and I personally cannot wait to give Mickey a big bear hug!

If you have any more questions in your planning, you know where to find us here at planDisney! Wishing you a magical planning journey to the Happiest Place on Earth!

    Never stop dreaming,
    Tara
