Hey Buddy!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you’re in the middle of planning a trip to the
Happiest Place on Earth!
I’m so sorry to hear about your June trip. I had a July trip myself that I had to cancel. I understand you may be feeling sad or frustrated but I feel the Disneyland Resort is doing the right thing to ensure the safety of their guests and their Cast Members. We’ll be able to get to the Disney Magic soon enough. Rest assured that the Disneyland Resort is working hard with State Officials to create a safe and efficient reopening of
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park. We should hear something shortly after July 4th about a possible new reopening date of the parks which could help you make a better decision about planning a new trip for this year or waiting until next year.
At this time, they are not offering refunds on unused tickets to the parks. Unused tickets are valid until their expiration date. Without seeing your ticket it’s hard to tell when that is. I’d check the expiration date on your ticket to see when it expires. If you’re unsure or can’t find it you call always call
Ticket Member Services and they can verify that for you. You may find that they expire with plenty of time to plan a trip for next year. Some tickets purchased this year directly through Disney had expiration dates of December 2021. In a worst case scenario, if you had to plan for a trip next year with expired tickets, you would receive the value that you paid for them and just pay the difference if there were any price increases next year.
Well Buddy, I’m sending some Pixie Dust your way and hope that you can make it down soon enough. If anything else comes up please come back and let us know.
Remember, always believe in the Magic!
