Welcome to planDisney, Stefanie. Thanks for stopping by with your question for us.
I can’t believe
Disneyland Resort theme parks and hotels have been closed for nearly one year already! I’m sorry to hear you were unable to enjoy some Disney fun last year due to the pandemic. The good news is that the tickets you’ve purchased last year most likely will now have an expiration date of December 16, 2021. I’m remaining hopeful that Disneyland Resort theme parks will safely reopen before then!
Hakuna Matata, Stefanie if you’re unable to travel to the Disneyland Resort after it reopens its theme parks before your tickets expire. According to
Disney’s eTicket Terms and Conditions, unless otherwise stated, the amount you paid for your wholly unused, expired Disneyland Resort theme park ticket (except for Special Event ticket) can be applied towards the purchase of new theme park admission ticket at the current price. The new ticket price just needs to be equal to or greater than the amount paid for the original ticket. When you’re ready to visit once the Disneyland Resort theme parks reopen, simply head to a Main Entrance ticket booth and a Cast Member will assist you in applying your eligible ticket amount towards a new ticket purchase.
Stefanie, if your plans do change entirely and you’d like to discuss alternative options, please contact Ticket Services at (714) 781-4636 and a Cast Member will gladly provide assistance and answer any further questions.
