Hi, Linda!
Welcome, and thanks for visiting
planDisney. What an awesome grandma you are for treating all of your grandchildren to a visit to the Happiest Place on Earth! As you might have heard, the
Disneyland Resort theme parks are scheduled to reopen on April 30, 2021, so your family’s dream vacation can become a reality soon.
Some theme park ticket expiration dates have been extended, so it’s likely the extension applies to the tickets you purchased previously. Unused non-promotional single-day tickets that originally expired on December 30, 2020 or March 31, 2021 will have the expiration date extended to December 16, 2021. Unused non-promotional multi-day tickets that were set to expire on January 12, 2021 or April 13, 2021 will also be granted an extended expiration date of December 16, 2021, and the ticket will expire 13 days after it is first used or on December 16, 2021-- whichever occurs first. Link the children’s tickets to your Disney account on Disneyland.com or the
Disneyland mobile app to check the current expiration date.
Starting April 15, 2021, ticket sales will resume and you’ll be able to purchase tickets for the adults in your group. Then you can make a
theme park reservation using a new online system. Be sure that you’ve linked all the tickets to your Disney account before you visit the reservation system because you’ll need to enter a valid theme park ticket number for each person in your party in order to create a park reservation for them. You’ll then select the tickets you want to make a reservation for, the available date you’d like to go, and the theme park you want to visit. You’ll be asked to agree to the Terms & Conditions, including a liability waiver. Lastly, you will select “Confirm” to complete your park reservation!
I hope this helps, Linda, and that your pixie-dusted family vacation is just around the corner! Please stop by again with any other planning questions you have as your trip approaches.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
