I have purchased Disneyland tickets already but I can to cancel my reservation. I am looking to make another Reservation fro 4/13 or 4/14 but it shows the part is unavailable. If I try to purchase new tickets it says the park is available. Why is this?

Hey there, hi there, Tina! Welcome back to planDisney. We are so glad you've stopped by again with another ticket question for us.

I'm sorry to hear that your plans have changed and you have to cancel your upcoming reservations. If you are trying to make new reservations for a specific date and it's showing unavailable for your ticket, but the calendar shows availability for a ticket purchase, the issue is most likely your ticket. I suspect that your ticket is a lower-tiered ticket than what is required for the new date you are trying to reserve. This means if you would like to visit on that day you will need to upgrade your ticket to a higher-tiered ticket. Ticket upgrades can be made at the Main Entrance Ticket Booth. Just remember that you will also need to make a reservation once you upgrade that ticket for entry into the parks. If you have further questions about your ticket, I suggest calling Ticket Services or chatting in the Disneyland app.

I hope that you are able to get your ticket upgraded so you can visit soon. If you have a park hopper, be sure to check out Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival which starts March 3, 2023, and goes until April 25, 2023. This is one of my favorite festivals. I like to purchase a Sip & Savor Pass and snack throughout the day on festival bites from the different marketplace kiosks.

Tina, I hope this helps you figure out when the best time to visit will be. If you have any other planning questions for us be sure to stop by again!
