Hi, I have purchased a Disneyland ticket and made reservation for one day visit. Then I decided to extend to two days, so I cancelled my original reservation and made new reservation for two days. How can I get refund for my the original 1 day reservation?

    Hi there, Yue!

Yay for more days at the Disneyland Resort! I’m happy you’ll have more time to enjoy new lands like Avengers Campus and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge as well as the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival.

The most straightforward way to upgrade Disneyland Resort theme park tickets is to visit a main entrance ticket booth. Although, because theme park reservations are also required, being able to work out an upgrade beforehand is preferable. That way, you will also be sure reservations will be available for the days you visit. When upgrading a ticket before arriving at the Disneyland Resort, Cast Members on the Tickets phone line or the Disneyland mobile app chat may be able to walk you through the process of canceling not only the theme park reservation but also the original ticket itself. An exception would be for tickets purchased from third-party vendors. In that case, changes or refunds can only be done directly with that third-party vendor.

Because you have already purchased a new ticket and tickets are non-refundable, please call or initiate a chat as soon as you can. I suggest gathering all of the relevant documentation for all of the tickets, including purchase confirmation emails and reservation confirmations. You will also want to have the original form of payment handy.

I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Yue. If you have any more questions, please visit us again at planDisney.
