Hey there, Madison! Welcome to planDisney. We appreciate you stopping by with your question. I'm so thrilled to hear that you have a vacation package purchased for an upcoming trip!
Disneyland Resort Vacation Packages purchased through Disneyland or through other parties work a little differently than if you were just purchasing theme park tickets separately. You will not receive your tickets until four days before your arrival. Once you have purchased the package, you should receive a confirmation email. This will walk you through the steps of how to log in or create a Disney account. As well as, link your hotel reservations to your account. Once you have linked your hotel reservations to your Disney account, you will be prompted to make
theme park reservations. However, I see that your trip is planned for later this fall, which means you will not be able to book theme park reservations quite yet. You can make theme park reservations 120 days out.
Your Disneyland Resort tickets and digital voucher for Magic Extras will be accessible four days prior to your arrival once you log on to your Disney account.
After you have theme park reservations booked, you can start planning your extras! Currently,
advanced dining reservations can be made 60 days in advance. Our family likes being able to take the day as it goes, however, we do enjoy one or two dining reservations on our trips to break up our park day. Our favorite is
Lamplight Lounge located in Disney California Adventure Park. It has great views of Pixar Pier and delicious bites and drinks.
Madison, thanks again for stopping by. As you continue to plan your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth, we hope you'll visit us again with any other questions.
