Hi Tia!
Welcome to planDisney! We're so excited that you found us hEAR!
Oh boy, this is a happy ho-ho-holiday question indeed! I love visiting Disneyland Resort during the
Holiday time. Be sure to keep up with the
Disney Parks Blog as they just announced an
overview of what to expect, but they'll soon provide in-depth posts about holiday happenings and specially themed sweets, treats, and eats. You can even
follow them across all of your social media accounts so you'll be sure to get the newest Disneyland news as soon as it's announced! (
hEARs last yEARs Foodie Guide so you'll know what to watch for!)
I have good news, Tia: your
Disneyland one-week PhotoPass has been auto-magically added to your
My Disneyland Account. There shouldn't be anything else to add or any numbers to manually enter. However, as a safeguard, if you don't see your Disneyland PhotoPass photos in your
Disneyland Mobile App after about four hours, head to the nearest
Guest Relations location and ask that they double-check that everything linked correctly. You'll know that you're good to go if you can open the app and see your on-ride or in-person photos without a Disney watermark on top of them. You'll also be able to tap each picture's thumbnail to view a larger version of it, and if you're all set you'll be given the option to download the photo immediately to your mobile phone.
Pro Tips:
~Everyone in your party who is linked to your My Disneyland Account will have any photos taken and scanned to their Disneyland Mobile App show up in your collective group photo album. However, PhotoPass photos will only show up without watermarks and be available for instant downloads in the Mobile App of the PhotoPass owner. (Example, if you and I are visiting Disneyland together and are sharing a PhotoPass purchase, and I sneak away to take a photo with Donald while you're doing something else, my Donald photo will show up in both of our Mobile Apps, but only you will have the ability to download it instantly. I'll be able to download it once I'm able to log in to the
PhotoPass account on a computer.)
~For your on-ride photos, you'll have to manually enter a code into your Disneyland Mobile app. These codes will be on top of each photo in the photo viewing area in the attraction exits. A super pro tip is to take a picture of the photo and its code so you can then upload it to the PhotoPass account later as sometimes there's a lot going on at the ride exit.
I hope that this helped to clEAR up your questions, Tia! Be sure to follow the
official planDisney Panel Instagram account for even more tips and tricks. And if you have any more
