We purchased a Disneyland 2 day ticket and want to upgrade it to a 3 day ticket - what's the best way to do this? Disney support has been MIA so hoping for some help as it impacts our vacation plans!

Hello, Grant! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for your question!

I love that you are thinking of adding an extra day to your Disneyland Resort vacation! With so much magic to experience at both parks, you'll definitely want more time to take it all in. To upgrade your two-day ticket to a three-day ticket, you will need to stop by a ticket booth at the Disneyland Resort and pay the difference. However, the tricky part is that you won't be able to make a theme park reservation for that third day until your ticket is upgraded. So, it's possible that theme park reservations may not be available by the time you get to the Disneyland Resort. I highly recommend checking the theme park reservation availability calendar before you upgrade to ensure you can actually make a theme park reservation for that third day.

The other option you have is to purchase a separate one-day ticket so you can make your theme park reservation in advance. This is typically more expensive than upgrading your already-purchased two-day ticket, but it allows you to move forward with your plans. You can also try sending Guest Services an email to see if they have any other options for you.

I hope this information was helpful. Have a great day!
