Hi, Andrea!
I am sorry your daughter no longer likes the character on her
DisneyBand+. While she will not be able to exchange it, the good news is that she is able to have more than one active DisneyBand+. She might want to get a new one but keep the old one for when she goes swimming at the pool or at the beach or just have an extra as a backup. When my daughter was little, she would dress her stuffed animals with Mouse Ears and put an old DisneyBand or MagicBand on them so even her toys were ready for the magic!
If you are interested in
purchasing a new DisneyBand+ you may do so prior to your sailing. However, it might be a fun treat to see what designs are available on your Disney Cruise in one of the gift shops and purchase one while onboard your beautiful Disney Cruise Ship.
If you have a
MagicBand+ from one the Disney theme parks, you may use that band as well when onboard (
select ships). My MagicBand+ has been on several Disney Cruises, and I even used it during a visit to Aulani, a Disney Resort in Hawaii! I love the convenience of having a DisneyBand+/MagicBand+ so I can tap into my room, link my photos, and then plug it in to recharge the battery. Simply magical!
I hope your daughter is excited for your upcoming Disney Cruise. Kids are treated like royalty with delicious child meal options, fun at the
Oceaneer's Club, and so many
character Meet and Greets. Make sure to have the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App on your phone so you don't miss a minute of the magic while onboard your beautiful Disney Cruise Line ship!
Remember that once you
board your ship, your room will not be available right away. I like to pack a day bag. Fill it up with swimsuits, sunscreen, phone chargers, and of course passports and medications. Get the magic started with a delicious lunch and a splash in the pool as soon as you board. And of course, I have to get my first soft serve ice cream cone! (Ok, maybe a second one, too!)
Wishing you and your family a magical sailing with Captains Mickey and Minnie! Bon Voyage!
Cathy
