I just purchased a Disney world ticket & made reservation for Disney Magic Kingdom. My wife may not like rides that much. So I also wanted to reserve Epcot. But, the system won't allow me. Can I make reservation for both magic kingdom and epcot?

    Welcome to planDisney Darren!

Your visit to Walt Disney World is just around the corner! You are coming at a wonderful time as the 50th Anniversary Celebration is in full swing. Cinderella Castle has never looked more beautiful all shined up for the occasion.

If you would like to start your day in EPCOT then go to the Magic Kingdom, you will need to add the Park Hopper option to your Theme Park Tickets. This will allow you to change parks after 2pm. You will not need a Theme Park Reservation for any parks you hop to, only for the first park you plan to visit that day.

I am a big fan of Park Hopping. It allows a lot of magic in one day. I am also a fan of mid-day breaks, so we usually squeeze in some pool time between park visits.

I do hope you get a chance to get over to EPCOT as you will be visiting during the International Flower & Garden Festival. You will be immersed in topiaries, gardens, outdoor kitchens, and even the Garden Rocks Concert Series! I think your wife has the right idea wanting to head over there!

You can upgrade your tickets with the Park Hopper option on the My Disney Experience app, just select Tickets and Passes, then Change Ticket. You can keep your Magic Kingdom reservation if that will still be your first park of the day (a good plan in my opinion!)

If you have any problems changing your ticket, pop back to your pals here at planDisney and we can walk you through. Wishing you and your wife a magical visit to Walt Disney World!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
