Hi Tammy! To be honest when I head to Florida and Walt Disney World my family never leaves the property and we often stay from 10 days to two weeks!  I can give you some advice about Disney that might help you with your planning.

Many families do enjoy adding the Park Hopper addition to their tickets as it can be fun to spend a day in one park and then head to another for dinner and fireworks or show. You cannot possibly do it all in one day for a park but you can pick out a few attractions and do that for half your day and then head to another park for the rest of the day for a few attractions there.  Two parks that are easy access to each other are Epcot and Hollywood Studios. They are connected by a boat which takes about 30 minutes.  You will catch this boat just outside the International Gateway of Epcot and it takes you to the front of the Studios park. Animal Kingdom is a bit of a distance from the other parks and is not connected by boat or monorail.  The Magic Kingdom and Epcot are connected via monorail transportation which is convenient and a fun ride for the family.

Check the park hours to know what gives you the best amount of time for each day. Animal Kingdom generally will be the earliest to close each day.  You won't want to miss the great nightly shows in the other parks, Epcot's Illuminations, Magic Kingdom's Electric Light Parade and Wishes fireworks, and Hollywood Studios Fantasmic.

Good luck with your planning and let us know if you have any further Disney questions!
