I have purchased Disney tickets for myself, husband and 15year old daughter and have linked them to my Disney experience app for our visit to Orlando in April. Can they also have the tickets on their own devices in case we don’t all do same lightning lanes

    Hiya Lesley!

    Welcome to planDisney!

The answer to your question is, yes! The Disney MagicMobile service allows guests to download their ticket onto their smartphone so it can be used to enter the park or Lightning Lane. You can first try to share their passes to their account which is possible between Apple (iOS) devices. Once it is downloaded to their digital wallet they are free to move about the Park with or without you. Since your daughter and husband are over the age of 13, I suggest as another option you consider having them make their own My Disney Experience Accounts and add them to your Family & Friends List.  By linking on the Family & Friends list they will show up as part of your planning party.  Since the tickets have not yet been used you can reassign the tickets to their accounts so that they can log into the the app and then create their own Disney MagicMobile pass. You can still plan together and involve them in everything or separate as you like.

Another option you may not have considered is to purchase Disney bands or as we call them in the US, MagicBands. If your family is under your My Disney Experience Account as a managed profile or if they have their own My Disney Experience Accounts, they can be assigned tickets. If you then purchase a lovely Disney band while here in the Parks you can then assign that band to that person. That band will then function as their ticket and let them just tap into the Parks or Lightning Lane for entry. No smartphones are needed. This is how my kids operate when in the Parks and it has been seamless.

I hope this helps and if you have any more questions please feel free to let me know!

    Happy Planning!
