Hiya Stephanie!
Welcome to planDisney! Tickets purchased from AAA or other vendors can be a great deal sometimes and I love a great deal! Linking tickets is pretty straightforward and I'm sorry that you are having issues.
Tickets when purchased from AAA can be actual cards delivered to you or an email sent to you with a Will Call confirmation number or Ticket ID number. You stated that you have cards so you can
link right on the website by adding the numbers noted on the back of the card. Once it is added you can assign it to a person and then confirm all the information. You can verify it is linked to your account by viewing your
Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker. You can also try to do this on your My Disney Experience Mobile App by clicking the three stacked lines on the bottom right, then "Tickets and Passes", followed by the "+" sign on the top right. Then select "Link Tickets & Passes" where you can via your camera on your smartphone to link it to your account.
I recently purchased tickets to Walt Disney World Resort that stated in the email something about heading to Will Call to pick up tickets which confused me. I realized later that it was letting me know about the possibility that if I selected to pick up my tickets rather than digitally linking them then this is what I should do. I had no physical ticket cards but only the digital presence on My Disney Experience Account which was downloaded to my phone's digital wallet through the
Disney MagicMobile Service. I then used my phone to tap at the entry terminals at the Park's entrance. Also, once it was linked to my account, my linked
MagicBand+ worked fine letting me into the Parks as well.
I wish you had the space to note the exact message you were seeing when you tried linking. These word count limitations can be frustrating. However, if my above suggestions don't work then I would reach out to
Existing Tickets and see if they can figure out to get you digitally linked. If for some reason, you had selected unknowingly to pick up your tickets from Will Call then you can visit any of the Will Call booths at each of the Park entrances to resolve this issue. In addition, you can also visit the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs. Make sure to bring your cards, any email confirmations, and a valid photo ID. I love visiting Disney Springs the first day I arrive as it slowly acclimates me to the fact that I am on vacation and in Walt Disney World Resort! I love walking through the shops and finding special souvenirs. You will always find me stopping at
Basin every trip to pick up some body butter and shower bombs. I found so many special items from their Disney Collection that are so refreshing and fun.
I hope this helps and if you have any more questions please feel free to let me know!
Happy Planning!
