I purchased Disney hopper passes years ago with our pics on them, I can't find the tickets, how I can get copies or how I can enter the park? I want to attend the Dec 16th Christmas event, can you please help, I can't get thru on the phone lines.

    Hello Cynthia,

Thanks for stopping in to see us at planDisney!

The holiday season is coming and I think the most magical way to celebrate the spirit of the holiday season is to celebrate at the Disney Parks.

Cynthia, it sounds like you're interested in celebrating at one of the Disney Merriest Nites to be held at Disneyland Park at the Disneyland Resort, though you could also be thinking about one of the Disney Very Merriest After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park at the Walt Disney World Resort.

While I know you mention you're trying to locate your theme park tickets from years ago to use for theme park admission to the event, it's helpful to know that the Disney Merriest Nites and the Disney Very Merriest After Hours are both special ticket events. You can purchase special tickets for the Disney Merriest Nites online at the Disneyland.com website, and you can purchase special tickets for Disney Very Merriest After Hours online at the Disneyworld.com website.

For each of these events, the special event ticket allows for early admission to the theme park that's hosting the event. Guests with tickets to one of the Disney Merriest Nites events can enter Disneyland Park at 5 p.m., with the event starting at 8 p.m. Guests with tickets to one of the Disney Very Merriest After Hours events can enter Magic Kingdom Park at 7 p.m., with the event starting at 9 p.m.

Cynthia, I know that you mentioned you tried to get through on the phone lines to discuss your older theme park tickets, and you were not able to speak with a Cast Member. For getting help with your older theme park tickets that you can't locate, my best suggestion is to keep trying to get assistance from the ticketing team. You can speak with a Cast Member about the expiration date of your tickets, and they can give you guidance and let you know what options are available to you. Typically, the amount you paid for unused, expired tickets can be applied to the purchase of new theme park tickets. For the Walt Disney World Resort, you can call (407) 934-7639. For the Disneyland Resort, you can call (714) 781-4636. The phone lines can be experiencing longer wait times as Cast Members assist Guests with questions. It can be helpful to try to call early when the ticketing team phone lines are first open.

Here's to celebrating all the holiday magic with Mickey and his pals.

And here's wishing you lots of Disney magic in your day today, Cynthia!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
