Before your trip to the
Happiest Place on Earth, you will want to check your gift card balance over at
www.disneygiftcard.com so you know exactly how much you can use on your magical day. Per the
Disney Gift Card terms and conditions, they do not expire, and there is no inactivity fee. I've found that most dining and merchandise locations inside the theme parks take Disney Gift Cards. The exception might be for any stores that are not run by Disney, which would likely be most of the shops and restaurants in
Downtown Disney. Within the theme parks, you should be able to use your gift cards at most locations. You can often see a Disney Gift Card sticker near the register, which indicates that gift cards are accepted.
Tricia, my favorite souvenirs to bring home are things that are easy to pack, like maps, reusable Disneyland bags (the 70th ones are SO cute!), or a Silhouette portrait from the
Silhouette Studio on Main Street in Disneyland. I also love to taste my way through the parks with seasonal treats. Find your new favorite over at the
