    I purchased a Disney gift card for my trip on 12/9/23 and when I took it out of the package it tore the magnetic strip and the account # off. Can I still use the barcode on the back of the card? If not how do I go about getting a new card?

    I love using Disney Gift Cards when vacationing at the Disneyland Resort! I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulty with the gift card you purchased. While I believe the barcode can be scanned when using the gift card, I recommend calling the number on the back for assistance before you leave for your vacation. Hopefully, the person you speak to when you call can provide an alternative solution for you if it cannot be scanned when using it. 

    I'm so excited for you that you're going to be visiting during the merriest, most wonderful time of year! The Holidays at The Happiest Place on Earth are truly magical, and I hope you have so much fun! I highly recommend spending some time on Main Street, U.S.A. for the Holiday Tree Lighting beginning at 5:00 p.m. and Wintertime Enchantment at Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle later in the evening.
