Lauren from MO Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

We purchased the 2018 Disney Dining Plan for our upcoming trip. In past years, the adult and child quick-service credits were not separated, meaning a child did not have to order off of the kids’ menu at a quick-service location. Is that still the case?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lauren!

I'm so excited that you decided on the magical convenience of the Disney Dining Plan for your upcoming visit! You're going to love that feeling of full vacation-immersion, where you don't have to worry about your budget and can simply indulge during your magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort, because most of your meals are covered!

Lauren, once you arrive, your entire family's Dining Plan Credits will be loaded on to your MagicBands and linked to your My Disney Experience mobile app, so you can easily keep track. You are correct! Your Quick Service credits will not be specifically assigned as adult or child credits and you will have the flexibility to use them as you please!

When I've used the dining plan, there were days where we had such a big meal at some point during the day that sharing a few quick service meals among my crew sufficed. It also stretched our credits, so we could use them later.

I hope this helps answer your question! Make sure to mark your calendar with all the important planning dates for your trip like your Advanced Dining Reservations which you can start booking as early as 180-days in advance, and your FastPass+ window which will open 60-days before you arrive plus your length of ticket days.

Have a magical day and we hope to see you back again real soon!
